Who Are Modern Prophets

A modern day prophet is someone who changes the community for the better. They think of other people before themselves all of the time. A modern prophet displays many of Jesus’ qualities and they believe everyone deserves a second chance. Fr Chris Riley is a modern prophet because he has used his fortunate life to care for others worse off than himself. He displays this when he provides youth who are homeless, food, schooling and a place to sleep. This gives them a second chance to provide themselves with a positive future.
